Relay for Life

Last night was the big Relay for Life scrapbook night at Susan's. We had a ton of fun and raised some money for the cause. Although I don't think very many people actually got much scrapbooked. I did three pages last night and one this morning. Here is what they look like...

7 days and 6 nights

Corey left today for 7 days in Idaho hunting black bears... Yeah! I am so excited to eat ice cream for dinner watch a marathon of chick flicks and play on facebook all week long. (Corey hates it when I do any of these things... hehe) But the bummer is that I work most of the time that he is gone so I don't get to do all the really fun things like shopping and girls nights....

However tomorrow night I will be attending an all night jam session of digital scrapbooking at my mother-in-laws house... then were having a sleepover. Just like were in junior high again. LOVIN IT!

Next Wednesday I am also going to have lunch with my grandma at The Greenery (kind of a yearly tradition) Can't wait for that mushroom burger and malt!!

Yesterday I was supposed to work my old job (my last day) but they sent me home because they didn't have enough work so I went and spent two hours at the gym (ya feeling that today!) and then I laid around all day and even took a three hour nap. Oh it felt sooo good. Worst part though... I couldn't sleep worth a darn last night.... BUMMER!

Hello Again

Ok everyone... I am finally going to update my blog to reflect our life as it now stands. So much has been going on that I have had to re-prioritize and unfortunately the blog did not make the cut into the most important things for me to do.

I just started working at McKay-Dee Hospital on the Cardiovascular Thoracic Unit and I absolutely love it. I am learning some much. School is finally out and my grades came out very positive. Got my GPA back where I wanted it and excited that I only have to take one class next semester. I was able to graduate this semester with a Associates degree of General Studies. Not very fancy but I was excited.

Corey is on his way out of town for a week of rest, relaxation, and bear hunting. That last activity is the reason why I am staying home alone. "It's a guy thing" he tells me and that I won't have fun listening to them tell crude jokes and have body odor wars. I TOTALLY AGREE! So I am working a ton and attending a digital scrapbook night at my mother-in-laws house. I am then sleeping over and we are going to have a mini-girls day. YIPEE!

My 21st Birthday

Our friends Kristen and Dustin took us out to dinner at Iggy's in Layton (I got to order my first drink... Gotta love Pina Colada!) and then we went to the Roller Derby (sorry no pics) then back to my house for a game of UNO!

I am so spoiled for my birthday I got a new outfit, a Nintendo DS, money, a jacket, shot glasses, a purse, a shirt, IBC Root Beer (LOL! that's from Ryan.. the closest thing to beer that he can buy), jewelry, and countless coke glasses. I am sure there is more but I can't remember right this second. Just wanna thank everyone! Love ya all!

Sunday was Easter and I got to spend the day in the best ways possible. First of all we slept in.. YIPEE! then we went to the Walton's for a birthday lunch (My birthday was sat. well get to that in a min) then we spent the evening with my family at Michelle's house for Easter.
